As we all navigate the unchartered territory we find ourselves in during this pandemic period, much attention is being placed on supporting local small businesses and restaurants. True, we need to support them, but what about those once in a lifetime events that so many are missing out on? Adults take so much for granted we forget how important graduation is to so many young adults.
VaCAP President Pat Turner is looking to make a difference. Everyone reading this who is the parent or guardian of a senior missing out on walking across the stage, please contact Pat Turner. Pat will send a personal note of accomplishment to them. Now it certainly will not make up for the graduation /ceremony and the celebrations that follow, but it may help ease the pain just a bit. Let’s all pay it forward!
